We are now accepting resumes for student summer employment at Ross Farm Museum.
At present, we are accepting applications for Heritage Interpreters. The main objectives of this program would be to learn and preserve skills that were a part of everyday life during the 1800's in rural Nova Scotia, and to show various aspects of rural agriculture to the public This would be achieved by interpreting domestic & farming skills by doing demonstrations relating domestic skills such as making butter, cooking, spinning, and interpretation of static exhibits in various buildings on site. Also, assist in interpreting herb garden on site to the public. Those interested in applying please send resume to the Museum by 5:00 PM April 30th
The successful candidate:
must be available to work 35 hours per week (weekends included) from May 22 to Aug 25th, 2017
Full-time student at a post-secondary institution and returning to an institution for the Fall of the current year.
